Welcome
My name is Camilla!
I am a fully insured, qualified Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist (CBH) based in Bristol, UK registered with the National Council of Hypnotherapy (NCH). I am also a qualified Sound and Movement Therapist (BAST) and a self-taught artist, working creatively with both adults and young children.
I provide both 1:1 private online sessions and collaborative group sessions.
With a diverse background spanning over a decade in the performing arts, events, SEN education and mental health sectors, I offer evidence-based, personalised therapeutic support that draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), clinical hypnotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness practices.
My work is particularly effective in helping people manage anxiety, stress, creative blocks, low confidence, and a range of emotional and behavioural challenges —so that you can break down barriers, empower your voice, and thrive both personally and professionally.

About Camilla

(she/her)
BA Hons, Dip. SAMT, Dip. CBH
Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist | Sound & Movement Therapist | Self-taught Artist
My approach combines structured psychotherapeutic tools—like thought challenging, behavioural experiments, guided relaxation, and values-based goal setting—with a grounded, creative and holistic understanding of what it means to be a beautifully messy human.
I’ve spent over a decade working across the arts, performance, events, and mental health sectors, and I’ve seen firsthand how creativity and imagination can support deep healing, inspiration and personal growth.
Over the past 4 years, I’ve been facilitating spaces that weave together sound healing, voice activation, movement, and creative practice. I believe the creative process holds a kind of wisdom—one that helps us reconnect with ourselves, with others, and the world around us.
Like many people, my journey hasn’t been linear or plainsailing, I was late diagnosed with ADHD at 33 years old which has since been a whirlwind of emotions. Alongside, the repercussions of losing my Mother at a very early age, navigating loss, upheaval, change, and uncertainty - are life experiences that shaped not only who I am, but how I show up for others.
I've learnt that healing isn’t about "fixing" ourselves—it’s about reclaiming parts of who we are with better understanding, self compassion and then moving forward with greater clarity, courage, and deeper connection.
At the heart of everything I do is a strong belief in the power of creativity, presence, and the freedom to express yourself fully. My aim is always to meet you where you are at, with honesty, compassion, and curiosity—offering practical, solution-focused support alongside deep listening and care.
Please note that there are certain contraindications that fall outside my professional scope. I am not able to work with the following: PTSD, complex trauma, psychosis or schizophrenia, eating disorders, OCD, bipolar disorder, substance or alcohol addiction, panic disorder, or clinical depression.
If you are experiencing any of these symptoms or are in crisis, I strongly encourage you to contact your GP, call NHS 111, or seek support from a qualified mental health professional. Your safety and wellbeing are the highest priority, and the right support is out there for you.

Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy
What is it?
Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic approach that combines CBT techniques with, Mindfulness, Hypnosis and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you change unhelpful thoughts, behaviours, and emotional responses.
-
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – a widely used, evidence-based psychotherapy focused on identifying and changing unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours.
-
Hypnotherapy – a form of guided relaxation and focused attention that uses positive suggestion to influence your thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a mindfulness-based psychological approach that helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings, commit to personal values, and take meaningful action toward a more fulfilling life.

My Commitment
I’m committed to offering a safe, supportive, and inclusive space where you feel seen, heard, and respected. I will meet you with compassion, curiosity, and honesty—without judgment. My approach is rooted in evidence-based practice, creative exploration, and a deep belief in your capacity for growth and change.
Together, we will take positive, solution-focused steps tailored towards your personal goals through a bespoke, tailored treatment plan. I honour your pace, your process, and your lived experience, and I’m here to walk alongside you as you navigate your path.
All information shared during sessions is treated with strict confidentiality. However, there are certain exceptions where disclosure may be legally or ethically required, such as:
-
If there is a risk of serious harm to yourself or others
-
If there is disclosure of abuse or harm to a child or vulnerable adult
-
If required by a court of law
In such cases, I will always aim to speak with you first before any further action is taken, unless doing so would be unsafe or inappropriate.
I am sex work{er} positive, LGBTQIA+, trans, and queer-affirming, and my work is informed by both a professional and personal understanding of neurodivergency.
Confidentiality
Confidentiality is a core part of our work together. Everything you share in sessions is treated with the utmost respect and kept strictly private, in line with professional and ethical guidelines. This creates a safe, trusting space where you can speak openly and feel fully supported.
Non-judgemental approach
A non-judgemental approach is central to how I work. You are welcome exactly as you are—without fear of criticism or shame. This supportive, compassionate space allows you to explore your thoughts and feelings openly, at your own pace, with respect and understanding at the heart of every session.
Transparency
Transparency is an important part of building trust in our work together. I’ll always be clear about the therapeutic process, the techniques we use, and why they're being used. You’ll be fully informed and involved in decisions about your treatment, with open communication encouraged every step of the way.
Let's Connect
Got questions? Curious about how we can work together? Or just feeling the pull to start something new?
Whether you're ready to book a session, want to chat things through, or need help deciding if this is the right fit—I’d love to hear from you. No pressure, no awkward small talk, just an open, friendly conversation.
